Dear Southwest Florida,
U.S. News & World Report recently revealed its 2024-2025 Best Places to Live in the U.S. rankings, and capturing the No.1 spot this year is Naples, Florida.
The annual Best Places to Live rankings examine key factors that people consider most carefully when moving to a new place, from the cost of living to the weather, as well as details like air quality and access to health care. Naples doesn’t necessarily have a low cost of living. Still its desirability among U.S. residents, a stable job market, and high quality of life drove the city to its spot at the top of the rankings.
Tucked between the edges of the Everglades and the shores of the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida, Naples has been long known as a popular retirement spot for the cold-averse. It’s famous for its pristine beaches, sprawling golf courses, high-end shopping, world-class arts and culture, sophisticated dining, and outdoor adventures. As the median age is decreasing more and more people are finding it’s the perfect place to call home year-round.
